Five local businesses to experience and add a unique gift under the tree this year!

I am so excited to be writing this blog because I can share with you the five local businesses whose products I enjoy!
If you haven't been able to tell yet, I'm a big fan of supporting local businesses. There's nothing like knowing where your product is from and specifically who made it.
Plus...

Buying local is :

  • a boost to the local economy
  • being eco-responsible (less transportation to get the products, less waste because in many cases the productions are made on a small scale)

It makes me happy to help you with the last details of your gifts list with these five (5) local brands that caught my attention, for some time now.

Start this Holidays season sending your greetings to your loved ones on a plantable card from Flowerink

I like the idea of all those wishes bonding with the seeds and latterly coming to life in our garden or in our home.

For the abstract art lover in you family, I suggest a art print of Pachyderme Design.

What I like about this artist? The arrangement of shapes and colors. There is something for everyone.

Illustrations that stimulate the imagination, stand out by the use of abstract, colorful and geometric shapes.

Over the past 20 months we have had to learn to work differently.
Are you, or a loved one, planning to fully embrace the hybrid model?

This standing wooden workstation from Rabot D. Bois is the perfect accessorize for the days you'll work from home.

I really like the wood nobility and that you can find elegant accessorizes for quite every room of your home, even the car!

Their leitmotiv : .. value wood one board at a time! (Rabot D. Bois)

Do you want to know 6 smart, stylish ways to make your wardrobe more sustainable?

Lisa from Ramonalisa will gladly guide you.

She " create comfortableversatile, & timeless designs from organic and sustainable fabrics, because [she is] passionate..."

What I like with her clothing line?
The quality of the natural fabrics she works with : cotton, bamboo, hemp, linen... and the fluidity in the lines of her designs.

Her brand definition: "Thoughtful designs for the sustainably minded. Made with love in Montréal." (Ramonalisa)

And last but not least,  a brand that's dear to me.
You might give a try to Essences Zen, a line of skin products, made of natural ingredients
from organic agriculture, based on aromatherapy and herbalism principals.

Other than the fact that Caroline, the owner, is a friend, what I really like is her recycling program.
She found an ingenious way to concile ecoresponsability and benefit for her clients.
